I freaking love oysters. I love them even more when they are shucked (by someone else) where they’re farmed, and you can sit outside next to the water with the most gorgeous views and a glass bottle of wine to enjoy them. If you also love such places, you have to visit Taylor Shellfish Farms on the Samish Bay in Northern Washington. It’s about an hour and a half drive North of Seattle.
The menu changes daily, and in peak seasons, things run out quickly, so you have to get there when they open. They also occasionally have non oyster things if you want the experience but you’re not an oyster person (I’m not sure we can be friends if you don’t like oysters.) I’ve also been when they have special events going on, like paella night, which was ridiculously amazing.
